About Us

First Baptist Church is a Bible-believing church located on the corner of church and front streets
in Florence, NJ. We are a people who love the Lord Jesus Christ and seek to follow Him with our lives.


Since 1880, God has blessed the gospel ministry of First Baptist Church of Florence.
The church began after a serires of revival services by Reverend J.K. Wilson of Burlington, NJ


Over the years, God has blessed the church both physically and spiritually. A fellowship hall serves use for communion meals and other special events. God has further blessed the church with a parsonage house and a mission home for the purposes of ministry. We believe God has well positioned us to make an impact for His Kingdom.


Spiritually, God has lead many gifted preachers to the church, caused many to follow Christ in baptism, and sent missionaries out from our midst.


Another distinctive quality about the church is rasberry garden that sits next to the fellowship hall. Visitors and members alike enjoy picking berries off the vine. We thank God for the physical fruit and also for the spritual fruit He will bring.


Today, the church still maintains a revival spirit and seeks God's revival in this generation.
